“Hot chestnuts!” – the friendly cry rings out every autumn in the streets of our cities, accompanied by a pleasant, enticing smell. The sweet chestnut is extremely nutritious, providing large amounts of healthy protein and essential amino acids – making it a healthy snack.

Other chestnuts that are not suitable for consumption, namely the horse chestnut, also have a surprising range of beneficial properties – for the skin. In creams, horse chestnut stimulates blood flow and firms tissues. It also increases the elasticity of vessel walls, supports the skin’s microcirculation and makes it more resistant to environmental factors.
